Avenel is the site of Civil War encampment all day; 11:00 a.m. - Bedford Historic Homes in the years 1861-1865 at Museum A Tea at Avenel in afternoon (will be a charge) 4:00 p.m. - Fashion Show at Museum. 8:00 p.m. - Concert of Civil War music by Karen Nichols at the Historic Meeting House. (charge of $2 per ticket with only 100 tickets to sell) July 13 Church service conducted in the 1860's service at the Historic Meeting House at 10:30 a.m. The encampment will be at Avenel until 3:00 p.m. September Last Saturday of September Centerfest in Bedford Old Curiosity Shop open at Historic Meeting House December Hanging of the Greens Luncheon, December 4.
