Advance reservations for the luncheon must be made no later than Wednesday, February 25 by mailing a check to the Bedford Historical Society, P.O. Box 602, Bedford, VA 24523. The cost is $10.00 per person and the public is welcome to attend. The brief Annual Meeting, including the election of directors, is scheduled for 1:45 p.m. Following the meeting Glenn Ayers will present an entertaining program entitled "The History of Bedford County in Song and Story" to celebrate the county's 250th anniversary. Mr. Ayers, a native of Bedford County, taught in Bedford and Alamance County (NC) for 39 years and is presently on the Board of Supervisors and Chairman of the Bedford County 250th Anniversary Celebration.
